When an analysis runs, the baseline image, the current image, the generated diff
image and the page URL are sent to our AI sub-processor. Nothing else about
your account goes with it, and the images are not used to train models.
An analysis only ever happens because one was asked for — nothing is sent in the
background. AI is also a plan capability: on a plan without it, the platform
refuses to run an analysis at all, so no image is ever sent. And if you must
guarantee that no image ever leaves our infrastructure, any admin of your
organisation can switch AI off for the whole organisation under Configs
→ AI — on every plan including Free, at no cost, overriding whatever the
plan includes. While it is off, every analysis is refused server-side: manual,
automatic after a comparison, queued, or started through the API. Each change
to it is written to the audit log on every plan — though reading the
audit log in the app is itself an Agency-and-above capability, as the table
above shows, so below that the entry is recorded but you will not see it on
screen. The switch is warranted to you in clause 11 of the
Data Processing Agreement.
Separately, whether an analysis runs automatically after every
comparison is a platform-wide setting we operate, and it can only ever turn
analysis off, never on. See the
sub-processor list.
