One rendering of one URL at one viewport width. A site with 30 tracked URLs and 3 viewport presets produces 90 screenshots per comparison run, and the same again when you capture a baseline.

Console-only checks capture no images and cost you nothing against the allowance. Retaking a single URL/viewport costs exactly one.

Because our buyer is not a CI pipeline. An agency with twenty client sites on a weekly cadence generates a fraction of the volume a component-library CI run does, while the value — catching a broken client site before the client does — is at least as high. Metering that account purely per screenshot would price it at pocket change and force us to make the product worse.

The screenshot allowance still exists as a fair-use guard, set at roughly 2.5× what a healthy account on that tier actually uses.

New jobs that would exceed the allowance are refused server-side with a message naming the limit you hit. We never silently bill you for overage.

Two honest caveats. We do not email you at 80% or 100% yet — your usage page shows where you are, and you have to look at it. And add-ons are not purchasable yet, so raising a limit today means changing plan or waiting for the window to roll forward.

Nothing is deleted and nothing already captured stops working.

No. The 14-day trial starts from an email address and a password. You get Agency-level capabilities — including the REST API, scheduled runs and AI diff analysis, because those are the gates you actually need to evaluate — with tighter limits than the paid Agency plan.

Your organisation freezes: it becomes read-only, so your sites, pages and run history are all still there and still viewable, but no new runs are queued. Nothing is deleted at that moment. Add a card and it unfreezes exactly where you left it.

If you never come back, the organisation and its data are deleted 30 days after the freeze. We email you when the freeze happens and again seven days before the deletion, and you can export everything yourself at any point in between.

Yes, in both directions, from the billing page. Stripe prorates the change for the remainder of the current period — an upgrade is charged pro rata immediately, a downgrade credits the unused portion against your next invoice.

Switching from monthly to annual applies the two-months-free rate from the next renewal.

You can cancel yourself at any time in the billing portal — no email, no retention call. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then drops to Free.

We do not automatically refund the unused part of a period, but if something went materially wrong on our side, write to us within 14 days and we will make it right. The full terms are in the Terms of Service.

When an analysis runs, the baseline image, the current image, the generated diff image and the page URL are sent to our AI sub-processor. Nothing else about your account goes with it, and the images are not used to train models.

An analysis only ever happens because one was asked for — nothing is sent in the background. AI is also a plan capability: on a plan without it, the platform refuses to run an analysis at all, so no image is ever sent. And if you must guarantee that no image ever leaves our infrastructure, any admin of your organisation can switch AI off for the whole organisation under Configs → AI — on every plan including Free, at no cost, overriding whatever the plan includes. While it is off, every analysis is refused server-side: manual, automatic after a comparison, queued, or started through the API. Each change to it is written to the audit log on every plan — though reading the audit log in the app is itself an Agency-and-above capability, as the table above shows, so below that the entry is recorded but you will not see it on screen. The switch is warranted to you in clause 11 of the Data Processing Agreement. Separately, whether an analysis runs automatically after every comparison is a platform-wide setting we operate, and it can only ever turn analysis off, never on. See the sub-processor list.

No, and we would rather say so plainly than run one badly. What we have instead is a 14-day trial on a real site — one site, 25 pages, 500 screenshots — using the same comparison engine, the same shift-tolerant diffing and the same console checks as every paid plan. It reaches VPN-only and password-walled environments and records browser actions with the extension, exactly like Agency does.

The honest reason: a permanent free tier on a tool like this is almost entirely a support cost, and a one-person company that pretends otherwise ends up serving nobody well. A trial that freezes rather than disappears is the version we can actually stand behind.

What the trial does not include is scheduled runs, the REST API and the audit log — the gates the platform actually enforces. You upgrade for automation, scale and the audit trail, not for the ability to reach your own staging server.

Yes to all three. Annual billing is a switch at checkout, every payment produces a downloadable invoice with your VAT details, and the data processing agreement is a click-through you can accept without talking to anyone. Scale customers can negotiate the DPA and ask for a countersigned copy.
